Schnappi das kleine Krokodil (Snappy the Little Crocodile) is a German children’s cartoon character and the stage name of Joy Gruttmann, who also voices the character. The introductory song “Schnappi, das kleine Krokodil” reached № 1 on the German charts in January 2005.

“Das Kleine Krokodil“, also known under the title “Schnappi“, is the debut single by animated cartoon crocodile, Schnappi, from his first album Schnappi und Seine Freunde. It was released on December 16, 2005. The song was a huge success in many countries around the world : indeed, it topped the singles charts in Belgium, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland for several weeks.
